Armando

Board Certified
Dr. Armando Cardenas, Founder and Medical Director of Veritas Clinic, began his medical journey in Mexico, where he earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. He went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at Laredo Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident, before pursuing advanced fellowship training in Nephrology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Proud to call Laredo home, Dr. Cardenas is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care with a focus on kidney health, internal medicine, and the overall well-being of the community he serves. His patient-centered approach emphasizes prevention, education, and long-term health outcomes.
